Don't know about Ford backhoes but there are plenty for Ferguson's, Fordson and even Chamberlain tractors. The Bare and Co site has a couple of links to tractor clubs Historic Machinery- Clubs & Events

Bare and Co also have general parts for Ford and Fordson tractors.

For a windscreen wiper - I am assuming you have a cab on yours, there are numerous after-market single blade wiper motors. Bosch and Mitsuba come to mind, or even the old Lucas units used on Series 1 and 2 Land Rovers. Try Antique Tyres - Parts - Wiper Accesories although for tyres they can be pricy.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

If BareCo don't have a wiper motor, could probably buy a new one through your nearest CNH dealer (Case New Holland)

FIAT Agri bought the Ford tractor division and renamed the combined entity New Holland, then bought Case/International, too.
I can buy new bits from Bareco, or the bits they don't have, buy new from New Holland for my old late sixties/early seventies Fiat 550 tractor.
Bought some fuel filters for a late fifties Fordson Major the other day from my dealer, too.
You can buy virtually everything new for the old timers.

Does it really need them - apparently it's lasted 30 odd years without 'em? It's a tractor! (Although I must admit that my late-90's tractor does have idiot lights for both! but no gauges!)

considering my employer wants the damn thing in a state to be driven 150-200km to job sites and i have zero faith the in the ability of the guys i work with to pay attention to anything mechanical, i'd love to have someone with a basball bat sitting in the cabin to make sure they dont kill it......

besides which, it hasnt exactly lived an easy life, so my faith in its will to live is limited

    G'day Sprint

This is the 3000/3500/4000 Diesel tractor (3cylinder) it would probably have a little hex head plug on the side of the block (fine thread I think) that is where the oil pressure switch would go, the water temp would be on or near the front thermostat housing or the front of the head, same type of hex head plug, similar to most motors, would probably be 1/2 water pipe thread, the wiper motor could be a MITSUI universal type mounted verticley with the blade sweeping down, Repco,Super-Cheap, Etc.

WHEN FITTING GUAGES TO FLEET VEHICLES fit a BUZZER as it saves $K's
to the work when the warning light comes on

    cheers
