    not really a fair comparo,,
who'd be silly enough to buy an M6 for ice driving?

what would be interesting is a matchup between the new cruiser and the D3 on the same track--

or,, a TDiV8 RR Vs RR sport Vs D3V8

    It's an M6.
But gee its lucky that I do not take on Discos on ice lakes in my M3, or for that matter beaches or rocky tracks.
But anything with that black petroleum bi product on it. Well that is a different story. And of course that is 99.5 % of all situations for most people.
What a lot of crap. LR advertising must be getting desperate.

Yes the D3 was just great.
    Pity about the test.
Why did they no use a BMW AWD?
    Afraid it would win

You blokes have missed the whole point. It is the only vehicle you need as it will perform in good and bad road conditions in comfort. It also shows the advantage of being able to select the drive mode to suit whatever you come up agaist, something that can't be done in a normal road car.I would like to see it go up agaist an LC200.
