Wipers / wiper blades for Defender and Rangie ?

WHat sizes and where can I get them ?

To suit 1994 Defender and 1994 Classic RR.

I know it's a stupid question but it does demonstrate that I haven;t EVER changed the bloody things so it's WELL past time.

I went to supercheap but they couldnt tell me what ones would suit, although I found a reference to a Defender in one of their books it specified a model code they don;t carry as a stock line !

Hmmm, okay let the roasting (and answering) begin !
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Just purchased some for a Dec 94 defender 130.
The book said one of three possible types.
The correct ones will cost you more than $30.
Just take the old ones into the store and match them up with no name brand multi fits.
Mine were $4.95 each and I had to cut them to lenght with a pair of sidecutters.
If you want more info PM me and I will try and find a part no

    G'day Vlad!
You will need size 330 (13') for the Defender and 450 (18') for the Rangie (if it's a Classic anyway, not sure about a P38).
And where to buy... Garcia's on Bribie stock them.

Cheers mate and hope you're alright.

The width of the hard plastic slider is what you are looking for in size. if you go to supercheap, i think they are either 6 or 8 mm, leaning towards 8 though. i got some double blade, blades (if that makes sense) they have two wiper blades mounted on the one plastic slidey thing, and as they are only about 10 inches long on the defender, the double blades do a top job.
    i can recommend them

i used those fancy new style silicon ones......the ones that come in all different colours......

they do a fantastic job......too good a job in fact.....that i had to take them off again because i was worried they were gonna burn out the wiper motor......

i still run them on the wifes falcon...........nice red ones on that.........

as for which wiper blades to get......you will either need either the 6mm or 8mm backing.......
then you just slide them in clip end last........the clip will lock them in place so they cant slide out again........
then just cut off the left over bit about 10mm from the last bracket......
