i'm in the market for a new one myself ...........

i had the old ARB one installed with the lockers
but its buggered now(7yrs), the single piston has worn out and on a funny angle
the sleeve is also stuffed, so its un fixable.........

but the word around at the moment is their new model is supposed to be up there with The Big Red compressor ..............

No it's not even close to the big red, it's heaps faster, on board one is round about the same as Max air, portable is faster.

I have Max air, can't kill it with a big stick

I have a Blue Tongue (Opposite Lock Thomas Compressor) that I have had for about 12 years and it has not missed a beat. Most of the good compressors are Thomas from the US made to suppliers requirements.

Blue Tongue also, way better than my old ARB was. The new ARB's look like they may have improved, haven't seen one in action yet though.

I have a blue tongue and have had it for 11 yrs or so. Lent out, god knows what its been up to but its strong and reliable.

I do have an engine mounted on in olmate - brand unknown; just found it in the old mans shed.

Had a 'Blue Tongue' installed in the Defender for close on 10 years now - never missed a beat (unless you include a corroded fuse holder )

The Defender has the Blue Tongue in the back - I've never given it a second thought. It does what it does - everytime.

Also got a blue tongue. It's a great machine. And the method it uses is superior to other brands.
