What is it about Newcastle - Another Grange?

What is it about Newcastle?

My daughter went to uni there doing her nursing degree. Then she moved to Derby in WA after graduating as a nurse.

My son then moved to Newcastle with his job.

Now he's resigned and moving to Dubbo.

My daughter SMSed us from the UK last night (she went there on holiday last week). She's moving back to Newcastle to go back to Uni. Can't they live in the same town at the same time?

She's been accepted into Newcastle Uni to do medical school. She hadn't told us she had applied and had flown from Derby to Perth to do the entrance exam nor that she went up to Newcastle for the interview a week or so back.

It looks like my other bottle of Grange will need to be opened in 5-7 years.

and speaking of Newcastle (yes Ron, this is a thread hi-jack

) how come there are so many Hilux's and GQ Patrols running around with huge lifts and 35" tyres ?
They can't all be engineered, can they ?

I only get there once every couple of years and it was really noticeable last week.

In answer to your question, of course they are otherwise the caring fellows wouldn't be driving them.

One hopes so!

She was an AIN whilst going to Uni doing her nursing degree. Now she can work as an RN whilst going to Uni to do medicine. Hopefully the background knowledge from nursing will help understand some stuff.

We go to Tamworth to do the things one has to do as it's only 100km/1.15hrs away. Unfortunately SWMBO had to go to Hospital, so it's relevant to the thread

(and a sad indictment on our medical system that we have to go so far for a relatively routine procedure. BTW, the nurses were fantastic in Newcastle Private

I stayed with her o/night and the nurses kept coming in to watch the Tennis with me and chat)

So what you are really saying is that her first Land Rover was an old Disco1 but her next Land Rover will be a new Range Rover Sport
