My son was born on the 8/8/86, so you have picked a good due date for your son. My son has recently purchased a 1985 Range Rover, the third RR purchased in our family so train him well. [other RR were a 79 2 door, replaced with the 84 4 door currently advertised, the 2 door sold as a non-running wreck, and the 84 that I am currently advertising. I owned a series 2A in 1971, and drove series Landrovers for a while at a job skills Job. Always wanted a forward control, even looked at one I was thinking of buying, but that did not happen and cannot aford one on the pension now. Have yet to work out how to post the list of what we own like others do at the end of their post, John.

Congratulations! Enjoy the ride. The parents I know look all dreamy-eyed when I've asked about it. The wife and I are currently in negotiations . . .
Thanks, Bushie, for the list. We laughed so hard. At work. I guess I'd better show the missus!
G'day Reads90

I absolutely disagree with this statement! There are times that aren't so pleasant being a parent. We just had to put our 18 month old in for minor surgery this morning and it wasn't too much fun!
However, overall it is the best. You're going to have a great time I'm sure. Congratulations!

However, overall it is the best. You're going to have a great time I'm sure. Congratulations!, like when my now 11yr old tipped hot tea over herself at 18mths and had to wear bandaging, or my son got some really crappy version of chicken pox and it was taking his skin off and he was in hospital, or my other son on his 4th b'day fell backwards and split his head open. Or when you come home today and say to young son who has started school " Hey son, how was school today"....silence....."Son, Daddy is talking to you"......"Im busy comes" comes the retort
. Or my personal fave.....newborns crying and pooping the night away...why oh why did I have another one
. The joys of being a parent

Yeah...that's like the delusion. When you see a kid mis-behaving really badly you have to delude yourself that your children will never be like that otherwise you'd never breed![]()
