Now that mitsu 380 prod is scheduled to close
will it become another P76?
I was going to say, lay off the P76 lol
By all accounts though, the 2 people who I know that have 380's are very happy with them but Mitsubishi isnt going out of business so parts should still be available for them in a few years time unlike the P76.
The 380 is an awesome car . Cheaper than a commodore or falcon and go a lot harder than the other 2 . Only thing that lets them down is the front wheel drive and the fact that the magna wrecked the mistu name in the first place . I had one for a few months as a company car and would own one in a heart beat if i hadn't already purchased a calais. If anything they should stop making the Pajero ..... bucket of second hand food

What has killed off the the 380 is not the car but the uncertainty about Mitsos future in Australia. Law requires parts to be available for 10years so that will not be an issue.

No matter what they called it, it was always going to be a Magna in the eyes of the buying public, and, worse, the used trade has always regarded Magnas and their derivatives and successors as total dogs. No resale value. The repair trade regard them at total heaps of s%^t, quick to wear, troublesome, expensive bits, and a real PIA to work on.
The first Magna made the reputation for all that followed.

there is a lesson in that for every one.
Reputation: hard to build, easy to destroy
The 380 can't be that bad ... plenty of them getting around . And what car isn't a pain in the butt to work on .... every car has it trouble spot to fix something . Must be an ok car to have the longest warranty getting around![]()
