l was thinking that in the markets section how does everyone think a kind of barter section would go ?
Something like this site SWOP.COM.AU - swap, trade, exchange the stuff you don't want for the stuff you do but just for people on this site.
l know people try to sell things they don't want (eg; a roof rack )only to purchase things they do (eg; a second hand set of spoties ) with the money they got from the sale of these items. And if thats not the case well fine, just sell it as usual in the markets separate section. lts just an idea I'm shooting forward for discussion,
has anyone got any comment or think it would be a good idea

I think its a good idea and will work well within a specific interest group (like AULRO) where people have a broad knowledge of what is offered and the values.
Will work alot better here than swop.com.au. They've got too many products and not a clear understanding of what they are worth.
Cucinadio .. put it to a vote. If you get 30 votes than Inc. can make a barter section.

I think its a very good idia but why restrect it to bartering for items, maby we could do something like... I need some elecrtical wireing done, your a sparky, and need a workshop to do a service on your landy, you do my wireing and in payment (barter) you use the workshop..

A barter/exchange/swap page might be useful
I suppose it could be trialled for a month or two and if it's not really utilised it could be axed?
