    Awwww I sort of miss it already

    Never mind maybe this will encourage SOMEONE ? to finally use the chat rooms

    I think it would be better off quitting while its ahead - as you mentioned, it would hopefully encourage more people to use IRC... and the Shoutbox never served a purpose anyway - on the odd occaision it would host a conversation, but 9 times out of 10 I would log on in the mornings to a barrage of "Evening all"s and in the evenings I would be greeted with a "Good morning"

    Even if the Shoutbox proves to be running with minimal resources, I feel that those resources would still be better spent elsewhere.

    agreed .. .it was fun for a while but then it was just occupying screen space, processor time.

    if they want to chat ..go to a chat room I say.

    best way to chat is to open a MSN account and use messenger works for me and a few others
