I would have to agree about the surreal part,years ago had a load shift on me boss was to tight to buy tie downs and I was not that great at tieing knots in rope, I was a third year apprentice mechanic at the time.
Went around a corner the load shifted which caused the rear to move out went off the road I had it going straight and back under control then ran into a ditch that went from a fence to the side of the road flipped the diahatsu truck before rolling along the fence,the only thing I was thinking as the truck was upside down was the engine must have stopped as the dash warning lights were on.
The boss ended up buying tie downs for the next workshop hack
