yep. When we first moved to the farm, it was nearly three years before I met some people I'd been waving to.

Scary thing is, I've only lived in this district for 6.5 years, and virtually everyone knows of me

When I moved to Ceduna, I arrived on the Sunday.

On Monday morning I went to the bank.

I was greeted with "Yes, Mr Beckett, how can we help you?"

Not long after I moved to Norfolk Island, there was a Trivia Night. I was unable to attend until fairly late. When I walked in the door, I hear "That's him!"

I found out from my table that the previous question was "Who is the new manager of ANZCAN Cable Station?"

Kangaroo Valley NSW was always the place where you weren't considered a local in KV until you had lived there for 3 generations.

other day ( 40 kph limit ). Not only did I get a wave but also a great big grin. Lovely.

Our town isn't that bad. We were told that we are blow ins but the kids are locals.
