Every day on the way to work I drive past a couple of 110 tray backs a 130 and two Discos and not one wave back
But I keep on waving just in case one day they wave back
Its only when you pull up at the lights and say gday and they snub ya that really gets up my nose
I mean these people must realise that all these people in Landys waving back at other Landys means something![]()
I've had this happen far too often recently, and they've all been Qld registered Defenders/110's, too.
I'm guessing that XXXX stuff has addled their brains, can't be good for you drinking the by-product of feline kidneys......
BTW, the missus (she who drives a Patrol) reckons the Land rover wave is a 'mutual support group' as we have understanding from others who suffer a similar plight.......
........probably a bit too close to the truth for my liking......
I get waves driving the D2, I get smalll animals and children running for cover at the sound of the County approaching. A lot of folk stare, a few Defender drivers wave. Disco and Rangie drivers tend to snub the County, their just jealous.
Do you know how embarrasing it is to madly wave at a Fender when you are in a Pajero.
The Paj is comfy Defer drivers but it can't tow squat.
I have waved to every Land Rover on the road, and have only had one wave back.
Now I don't bother.. I'll wave back if they wave first
Whe I owned a Peugoet, every other like owner waved back, same with Citroen.
However I get waves from every caravaner when towing the caravan, must be a lot more camaraderie amongst vanners than Land Rover drivers.
Cheers
