Still, I don't see why it was such a pressing issue that in other threads great attention was given to ensuring that aboriginals weren't "offended" but it seems that no one really cares if gay people are offended or not. Its not really any different - both were attacks against a certain group - yet it seems one is perfectly acceptable.

All I'm saying is that there is a hell of a lot of gay innuendo on this forum. Like a trailer backing thread a while back - surely a completely random dig at gays as part of a completely unrelated anecdote is unwarranted.

Of course there is going to be innuendo of all sorts, what was that show, English show in a upmarket shops or something, bloke in there was a camp as ( Just remembered " Are you being served"). So what if someone makes a "gay" innuendo, don't you think they do the reverse...of course they do. Just like if you say "Geez mate you reverse your car like a chick", or my old man going " So when you giving birth mate" cause Ive whacked on a few kilos ....bastard.

There is a huge difference between innuendo and taking the mickey versus shaving your head, wearing doc martens and subscribing to some "hate" mantra against something that doesnt gel with your believes or thoughts. Did anyone care the same about the Scientology thread, or as you Joel have pointed out the 'Sorry" thread or 100's of other threads.

And finally...of course there is an "us" and "them" in all things, not just cause your into a bit of mancake . Man I have a "Me" and "you" when it comes to the female persuasion at home..." All you men are alike"...."Thats it??"....."You prefer to hang out with ya mates"..on and on and on.

Now Im going to pull the old " But I know gay people" line, and yes I have known blokes who subscribed to the sausage, couldnt give a rats either way, my flat mate at the time, top bloke, played rugby, but after a few drinks turned into Priscella Queen of Everything. I had an ex girlfriend who after a few drinks would turn into a raving lunatic...make sense....time for another beer ,

Good call mate, yes have seen the movie and now have the sounds of a banjo going on in my head . I should have used an aussie colloquism ( or however it is spelt), like as you say yobbo. Though I know you in the flesh and you aint that much of a yobbo....bogan yes...but not yobbo . Will be sure to give ya a hug at next meet,
