    QLD peeps...

    I dont mean to sound distasteful - I was hoping people could share pics of the flooding and mayhem in the QLD area.

    Im just curious, we have had 30mm of rain here in Perth, falling over 2 whole days in 2008 so far.

    I've read there are crocs loose in Mackay right now...

    i drove to maryborough and back yesterday and that was bad enough..

    above gympie heading north there were holes in the bitumen well over 300mmm deep x 450mm wide by 3 metres long with square edges in a couple of places. the majority were 150-200mm deep and a metre or so long

    i saw at least 3 small cars like barinas etc on the sides of the road with suspension ripped out..

    southbound side was in way better condition

    If you look up couriermail.com.au there is a heap of pics there of the floods plus the storms that hit the whitsundays.
