The mother of all rigs !

After the severe low pressure system that affected Moore Park Beach on the night of the 14/2 we left south 5 am on the 15/2 .Our first stop was on the Sun Shine coast to pick up a bull bar for stooge's rangie and then we drive to Ballina our planned first stop for the day.
The caravan parlk (dog friendly) 10 km south of the Big Prawn isvery casual and relaxing spot. There was " The Mother of all Motorhomes" a Atchinson prime mover with a trailer about 50 foot long plus carport for the shopping trolley a Mercedes Benz G90 ! Therig cost easy $750.000 or more.
I just wonder what another Johns is going to get to beat thisone.
The Disco and trailer are performing fantastic.
Next day we left to Nelson Bay where we stopped 1 night and then was Nelson Bay to Chelsea Park,Melbourne no stop. The trailer is fully load about 1250 kg we drive at 95 to 120 kph and the Disco consume 11lt per 100. Not bad at all

I saw something simmilar up at coral bay a couple of years ago. It was pulling a trailer with a grand vitara, (no accounting for taste) and on top of the vitara was a boat.
When they parked it up the sides of the trailer wound out too.
The number plate on the vitara was "a jolly" and on the semi was "swagman"

There are some really nice rigs, buses and trucks around like this. Living in Esperance and between 2 caravan parks we get to see most of them.
A truck is probablly a better way to go. A prime mover like that can be bought quite cheaply. Some inventiveness and away you go.
Have seen rigs approching the 3/4 million mark, but also some fanatstic home made conversions for as little as $70k.
Nice to be able to do that.
