As for the mice, Hmmm, the Lady Nelson harbour cruise that Ron mentioned would be a fun trip, we haven't been on it yet:( and might join you lot if you like!:D I have 9yo and 14yo daughters who make great baby sitters...("Ooooh, isn't that baby just sooooo cute!!!":o)
Bruny Island is a fantastic day trip, (early start recommended) again, we'll be in that if on a weekend. Great beaches, walks, etc 20 minute ferry trip, leaves only about 30 mins from Hobart in Kettering.

The air walk is great I would recommend to any one the enginering that went into it just blew me away a real achivement. If you should go down to it just before Geeveston on the left hand side is a place that makes wooden boats useing the old skills,they make all types and sizes of boats for people all over the world Its open to the public well worth the time and entry fee and while you are down that way you should pick up some good apples very cheap. Bellerive beach ( just behind the cricket ground ) has nice clean sand teach them how to build san castle nice and cheap few hours and there is a real good fish a chip shop at the end of Queen St right near the beach. There are 2 or three river cruises all very good.

Damn, Hodgo is making better sugestions than me, and i'm more local LOL.

Yup, the Tahune airwalk is great, the boat center at Huonville which makes boats from huon pine is fantastic, and Bellrieve beach (beside the oval) is a great spot to blow some time.

Been a couple of years since she had a solo exhibition - kids and all.

She is a curator for a university gallery and this exhibition is one she organised -

It's been a long time since I've been to an exhibition, and I'm surrounded by artists up here :angel:
Usually their exhibitions are in far flung places like Newcastle or Sydney and I'm too slack to support them, although I did get to a book launch a few months back. :D
A friend and neighbour has been a visiting lecturer in art for the last couple of years ( Sydney Uni I think ??) although she's dropped it this year thanks to the travel. (They were looking at some sort of video conferencing a few weeks back)

Hi honey, I'm home.

Nissan X-trial, that's not a misspelling, what a disappointment. It struggled to get above 80 and was just too much like hard work to keep at 100, never mind the the auto hunting around trying to get there. Only 25,000Km on the clock, but it must have been stuffed, they can't all be that bad.

Much fish and chips at Elizabeth pier, went to the shops in a steam train, visited JustinC's workshop several times, thanks, Justin.;)

Met up with Stooge, who lives fifty metres from my mates place.

Spent a morning at Marion Bay, had to share the many kilometres of beach with three other people. We drew a line in the sand and walked in opposite directions.

Took the kids bushwalking. Strike that, carried the kids bushwalking.

At the last minute decided the Cadbury tour would be fun. Oops, tours every half hour from seven-thirty in the morning, and booked out for a week in advance, go figure, I'm sure someone did mention that before we left.

Made it to the auctions, which I try to check out every time I'm down. My coffee machine was not there waiting for me.:(

Never enough time.
