didn;t notice you were gone![]()
G'day
after a 450mm downpour a week ago and having been at the wim of the Telstra scumbags we finally have a connection again.
I'll be forced to make a submission to the ombudsman after this little episode I suspect.![]()

Welcome back. The wet has sure caused some grief![]()
good to see your head is still above water![]()
Best of luck - I have a feeling there are some weasel words about weather in the repair time limits. But give them a go - although when I put in a complaint about my ISP a week ago I got a recorded message saying that they were overloaded and could not say when the phone would be answered. I suspect they have a large workload with CDMA/NextG. Go online - you can lodge a complaint that way.

I'n not so much pi$$ed about the amount of time it took to restore the service but the fact that they bull$hitted us in the process.
They left a card on Wednesday telling us they needed access to the house to test sockets etc, wouldn't give us an appointment time then never turned up.Consequently my wife stayed home all day Friday to accomodate the bastards, the service was miraculously fixed and we lost about $90 worth of income. In my book they owe me.
These were taken about 700m from my house Saturday a week ago. The yellow house had a "high tide" mark just below the shuttered window.
