    Andy,
you great sooky la la. Wait until you get 2 or 3 weeks straight above 40 deg c like we used to in Kambalda.
Not to many 40 deg c days in Esperance, although will be warm today her in Ravy. But when it is 40 deg c in Esperance its walk around the corner to the beach for a nice Esperance ice cold swim.

My workplace was 21 deg, all day, mind you its 21 deg in winter to
Although its a lot hotter if I have to go out on the ramp, the heat sure radiates off that black tarmac.

I think they said on the radio this morning that its one of WA's hottest summers on record

Don't get me wrong I love the heat more than the cold but I'm over it and now its time to cool the weather down so I can start using the spa instead of the pool

We had 18 days straight over 40 here earlier this year. You get used to it, I was still riding my mountain bike to work.

being sad that I am I'll mention that I believe you should turn on air-con unit's every month or two even through winter to keep it in good condition.

Saying that my FIL had an old window mounted split system in his garage, never turned it on for over ten years! This year he blasted the dust out and turned it on. Works fine.

OH and Enjoy Jurien, it's a nice place and the beach where Brad/LROCWA are staying is worth a visit or two.

My sister used to drive an Automatic KB Ford Laser. I was driving it along the Hume one day (with the obligatory brick on the accelerator) when I decided to turn on the airconditioning. The compressor had become so seized that it went from 110 to a maximum speed of 50 for quite a few km.

this will be our 5th visit so well accustomed to it will be good to see the beach where brad etc are tho... and to revisit stockyard gully!

didnt know that about the aircon... but as the vents are disconnected at the moment from doing the kitchen i cant do anything with it! have to get them fastened again tho soon and give it a run..

    Thanks

    Steve
