Is the Disco 2 wiper blade assembly the same as the Disco 1.
During the replacement of the wiper blade the plastic locking clip became a 2 piece item
Someone on ebay is breaking a 95 Disco and I wondered if the wipers were the same.
Any one know?

No they are completey different.
The D1 uses a common slide over unit while the D2 has that wonderful clip that locks the unit in.
Saying that though the whole arm assembly may fit & work for the time being.
I know of a few people who have changed their arm/wiper blade for the D1 version only because its easier & cheaper to get wipers for it!
I was afraid that might be the answer
Is it simply a matter of unbolting one unit and bolting the D1 in its place?

Dunno about that ,, compared to the D1 both wiper arms on the D2 look like the main armament of(f?) a Battleship.
