Hi db, I see you bought the Axe Shovel set they had at Wandin. Yes the manufacturer is 4x4Equip.

I didn't look to closely as I've had a Brown Davis one before. These look much better made and steel not alloy. Couple of things to watch, make sure everythings really tight and can't rub. I'd put a plastic pipe/hose over the retaining pin on the shovel.

Also what are the shovel and axe like quality wise. Are the good hard steel? I'm thinking I might get one after all. They are handy!

You need to put a rubber strap around the axe and shovel to stop them rattling. The whole thing will still vibrate and this was the issue with thte alloy Brown Davis one I had, kept cracking the welds This unit is made of steel so should be a lot stronger in that respect, also the bracing looks a lot better.
