My MG just failed the bullbar laws..

In getting this back on the road after 30 plus years, it failed the blue slip today.

Partly because the front bumper mounts protrude forward of the bodywork ala the thumbnail. Its really annoying. This thing has never had a prang (when they normally get removed) , and I'll be damned if I'm cutting the chassis extensions now.

Looks as though I'll have to get a nudge bar made up. Grr.

    Regards
    Max P

At least it will "run under" all but toddlers.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Not sure, gotta go exploring the darkest corners under the house tonight. Its been a long time, but I think it came with something rusty.

The bumper, yes. And all that other unnecessary paraphenalia like wipers..

This was the first car I ever bought, in 1977. Its been a race car most of the time since, & now its going back on the road, with full rego.

Yes you should, used to know a guy who had a 1939 Lincoln Zephyr V12 in a shed that had been there 40 odd years - its rare as hens teeth.

Thats stupid Max, I'd got to another blueslipper. I would expect those laws not to be retrospective like every other revision.
    Cheers
