    Welcome in advance!

With any luck, us English will soon be outnumbering the locals.

Any ideas on your plans yet? (Oh, and if you fancy sticking a spare Defender 90 in the container, let me know. Cash waiting!

Is that 23% were born in WA. That isn't very much is it.

I consider myself West Australian, although I wasn't born here. I am another ex Pom with a bit of paper to say I'm Australian. Been here 34 years.

    and

Brendan congratulations you will love it here

Congratulations, I know that it's a long hard process, it took us what seemed like forever. Only about two years really. Enjoy Australia, I do !

When I decided to visit Australia, the last thing I thought I would need would be a visa. I just assumed that as a UK citizen that I would automatically get one at my place of entry.

It was someone on AULRO who pointed out that I needed one. Thumbs up to AULRO!

Have applied for visas for such countries as Vietnam/Cuba etc and had no problems getting them. So far it has only been Australia who has asked extra questions, like prove I have sufficient funds to support myself during my visit! There again this visit is a bit longer then my average trip!

    Looking forward to it!

Will keep people updated as things progress through the trip.

    Regards

    Brendan

If you fill up your Land Rover with MUD consoles you could fund your trip by selling the lot here!
