    British Racing Green.

Pre WW1, the Gordon Bennett Races couldn't be held in the UK, coz of the red flag act - the 4mph limit. So the English moved the races to Ireland & ran under the colours of the Shamrock. The French ran blue, the Germans silver, can't recall whether Italian red dates from this period as well.

BRG has changed shade a bit over the years though.

British Racing green is actually Napier Green, the colour of the Napier team cars.

    This year,

You can still get the old ones built, for a lot of money.
