Obviously this cant be the only thing to see Tombraider pull up stumps
Its a damn shame that someone with so much to offer is gone
I for one have gotten a few tidbits of info from him and used them wisely
If for whatever reason people want to go its no one elses business
And lifes to short to waste over trials and tribulations on an internet forum
I like Landrovers very much its my prefered choice of 4x4
And for Tombraider to leave is his personal choice
Yes he will be missed and so will his wisdom
And for all those putting in there selfish comments grow up its a place
where adults should act rightly so (This isnt a playground for 2 year olds )
I know whats right and wrong and the way some members act is downright
boorish and rude
Its fair to have an objective point of veiw but theres no need to be an out n out AR5EHOLE now is there

Absolutely agree with the bulk of what you have written, but the part I have bolded and I am assuming you are referring to this thread, what selfish comments are there? Who is being an AHOLE? Your right this isn't a playground and I'm a pretty bloody educated person and I cannot deem one post...including my own or anyone else's that fall under the guise of the bolded part you have written. So feel free to enlighten,

I for one agree with you Rovernaut, was thinking exactly the same thing "General Chat Almost anything goes, have a look and drop in a few lines. Think of it as a campfire chat". If that's the case, it must be a bloody boring campfire chat & I sure as hell wouldn't want to be camping with people with such limited views. Once again, what the hell is wrong with everyone. Lighten up!

A bit of humour is good for the soul! If you don't like it, well I'm sorry, I don't necessary like the content of some posts, nor agree with them, but I sure don't get offended by other's views/opinions. I reiterate, do people behave this way when they meet face to face? I have been on some trips with people from the site, & found them all great. Or maybe I am thinking about another forum.

I posted the original post for 2 reasons and it was not to spread SPAM as some call it. And maybe draw attention to a new scam that circulating around. Some fools actually do get conned from stuff like that , if only they were told before.
I suppose if a new computer virus was being circulated and some one posted that then that would be bad too.

If this forum is going to be like this then I too will move on and don't want to be part of it any more.

I don't think I will waste my band with either and visit here any more.
It's about time some of you got out of your coocoons and got a life and stop taking things too seriously.

This used to be a fun and welcoming place.

But it is starting to become draconious.

Its not funny or entertaining you may think that as far as what has happened or someone elses valued or justifiable opinion is entertainment then thats just plain ignorant
If you want to be entertained hire a dvd ,go to the football ,go four wheel driving (Do something constructive)
Dont just jump in where you have nothing constructive to say and post crap about nothing
Go take your whole Landrover to peices find out how it works put it back together and start a thread telling us something usefull like how to shim swivel housings
Or go on a trip and take some good photos post them up for all to see and share with us what a great adventure youve had
In short if you have nothing nice to say dont bother
