About 650k per tank in a TD5 Defender (before I panic).

When not towing anything or driving flat out, I average 10.2km/100L mixed driving.

    With my camping trailer 12.5k/100L

    With trailer and roofrack 13.5k/100L.

Damn that Lara Croft roofrack - it costs so much in fuel I don't use it any more.

200tdi Disco the best round town (fuel light on) 650k's gets 550ish at 3/4 but it seems to drive better when full of fuel

    Cool Cheating with Diesel/LPG

Impressive. So far 675k's with three quarters of a tankful gone. I'll let you know km's/110 mpg when I fill her up. Last Disco was a V* so I'm super impressed. Used to do 20ltrs/100k

In my 300TDi Defender I can get anywhere from 600-750k's out of a tank, depending on mix of freeway vs round town and whether any offroad is involved. It probably dropped a little when I had the pump and boost played with, but not enough to go back to how it was!

Both fenders approx 10.5-11ltrs/100kms around town.

    130 300tdi is usually empty
110 TD5 has baby stuff and wife is a bit of a lead foot

    Tyres at 55psi

    Air con on most days

No roof racks on 110 anymore (they whistle and you can notice a difference with them off)

between 700 and 850 around town, have gotten just over 1000 on the highway at 110km/h heading to the Territory

300tdi Disco with a half rack.

(Just filled up this morning with 747 kms and it was on the bottom E line. Have noticed I get consistent consumption if only filling up at BP, using woolies and others can vary consumption by around 100kms

Handles just fine, have got over 110,000kms out of set of General Grabbers. I like a firm ride. I have listened to quite a few people over the years saying dont go over 40 or dont go under 60, some were old cockys who drive on dirt tracks some on the sand. I have only had 2 punctures in this time and both where repaired and the tyres are still in use. I understand that some people prefer a smooth ride but if I wanted a soft ride I would buy a Falcon..

Hope I dont sound blunt, and I dont wont to start a fight but I just feel it is a matter of preference and fuel economy

how much weight you usually have in the truck?

you looked to see if you have any chassis cracks round the cross members or rear of the front arch?

last one i saw that ran those sorts of pressures was full of cracks...

be nice to run that for economy etc but my spine would be powder in a month...

Wow!! I get about 385k's out of a tank in my D90 TD5

Best ever I have had is 26mpg. normally get about 22mpg

that works out at 11.1l/100k's and 12.9l/100k's (I think!)

    Doesnt seem too bad...
