    Question for the WAULROVIANS

Hi to all in WA & anybody else with knowledge of that fine state.

I'm about to make my first visit there flying into Perth later next week.

While I am aware that tojo troopies can be rented from the Hertz/Avis consortia, I was wondering if anyone knew of any rentals of expedition type vehicles (hopefully deefers) suitable for visiting/exploring the dunes&beaches of the south & southwest?

    Any info greatfully appreciated

    thanks - Laurie

Don't know of any who do fenders. Even the tojos are hard to get as the mining companies/contractors have most of them on long term rent.

I'm sure one of the Perth based members can give you a hand!

    thanks Bradtot & Jamo

since posting I've found out that Britz rent both troopies & 100series & they don'tmind the customer taking them off the tar , so that's the fallback position

I'd rather an lr though, so I'll check out Northside.

I've been looking at your southern coastline and east of Esperance on googlearth and it looks great & unspoiled

    regards - Laurie

Yes it is wonderful and if u time it right u can travel along the beach all the way to the baxter cliffs..I have done it and it was fantastic.
there are lots of places to camp along that stretch inland slightly that follow the old telegraph line. and plenty of salt lakes. Fishing is good too.
But u need to be totally self sufficient.
