Thread: How much is too much for an old Landy?

Thats just it it isn't

You could get it regoed for $3.5k - $4k total.

There isn't that much work. The price was to get rid of it cheap, and just cover my costs.

And end up with a great vehicle to get around in - and then some. Just needs the right person at the right time. It will happen mate. Patience.

Maybe they're cheaper in the West. The one below was recently purchased in Kalgoorlie for $500 - diesel, registered and runs well.

Another friend has also recently purchased a very similar one locally for $300 - diesel, runs well but unregistered in this case.

Still, I think they're quite cheap prices. I'd certainly pay $750 for a runner provided it wasn't going to cost me too much to get in on the road. By today's standards, that's still cheap transport, and there's nothing wrong with a Series III diesel.

Just had a quick look at the series Land Rovers on carpoint - gee zuz...I don't think you are asking too much Dobbo.
