    Pedro,

    No unfortunately, no in-car shots

    Andrew,

I think the point is that it just doesn't _seem_ to be tortured in the slightest. I honestly know of no other stock-standard car that you can use as a luxo barge, a people-mover, a tow vehicle, and then just chuck a set of muddies on and run (and win ) a comp in!!

No mucking around with swapping axles, locking diffs, steering and suspension corrections. Just straight off the show-room floor .........

Well, maybe a TDV8 Rangie Sport

To be fair, Mike's Rangie _should_ have won - those MIckey T Baja Claws + the Maxi lockers make it pretty unstoppable in mud. But he just wasn't quick enough on the last few runs, in part due to the dreaded hydrophobic petrol V8 getting a little wet .........

    Cheers,

    Gordon

He was 4WD until the first run - pretty sure the earlier roll-over took its toll on his front diff!

I'm sure he would have got through in 4WD - but I doubt he would have been any faster than the Rangie. It wasn't the most stable of vehicle!

    Cheers,

    Gordon

    Hi Gordon,

Looks like a lot of fun, I started to look through the pics last night but ran out of time, will try to run through them before I head off to the UK on Monday.

Incidentally, the winch is now a goer.
