    A Good Camping Book ??

    Question What Is The Best Camping Locations Book Available?????
    I Am Going To The Kimberleys Next Year And Require A Good Book To Set Up An Itinerary Of Places To Stop And Camp On The Way Up And Back Any Help Appreciated Thanks All

    Try "Priceless Campsites and Rest Areas in the North of Western Australia" by Jan Holland. (South of WA also available).

    Full of descriptions, directions and mud maps on where to find free camping spots across the northwest

    A google search should turn up the best place to buy it.

    I agree with the above, but for a more general approach we used "Camping in Australia" by Savage and Lewis published by Explore Australia. ISBN 1-74117-017-6. Ours is worn out and from 2004, but I think there is a new edition. We have used in in every state and find it reasonably complete and accurate. It has lots of useful maps and phone numbers too.
