    Ford Territory... Oh My

I was under the impression that the car industry had done away with rust issues. Looks like the Ford Territory has some problems in this area.

And a little bit of trivia in the Ford Territory ad - where the school moms are portrayed as truckers - when the school mom driving the Landcruiser steps out of the vehicle and there is a close up of the boots stepping down to the ground - she is wearing LANDROVER boots. You can see the word ROVER on the side of the heel.

Not unusual in late model Oz built Fords.
I had a BA Ghia which had penetration rust through the boot within 3 years.
No dramas, repaired under warranty, panel beater was pretty much full time on Falcon rust repairs at the time.
Before I sold it I found rust stains weeping out from various brackets under the bonnet, boot and around anything exposed to a bit of moisture from road spray etc.
Looks like the Terry might have taken this to a new level.

    Lets be realistic...
Its Aussie built and its priced to suit the cheaper end of the market.
Its not a Euro built car...

Look at its size and price then compare it to the Volvo AWD or BMW AWD or even the Jap AWD. they are dearer for a reason.......

End of the day... you get what you pay for....
