To Admins - Trips Tracks and Schedules

I have noticed that all the states under the "Trips Tracks and Schedules" have the common problem of wanting to place upcoming events under their state, Tasmania included

I think most users would agree that we should have the 'Upcoming events' under each state, because at the moment, its a free for all mess in there. If its under each individual state, then it would be easier to focus on your area and post up these threads. Can we request to have this done?

Just an idea to make life a little easier...

    Cheers

mate ,it because of the free for all mess that I had to wave the 'big stick',I don't like having to do it,receiving irate emails doesn't rate as a high priority hobby either, but ,if when people organizing an event as has been suggested and has been the practice in the past ,just simply put at the start of the title some reference to the trip location eg,nsw blue mountains or s/e qld toowoomba run ,tis a lot better than 'who's up for a run on sunday?'
with just a little bit of use of the grey matter, some better wording and by making sure it goes in the right section ,life can get back to normal,
I hope this reply is not taken as agro or rash or abrupt,as it isn't meant to be,and to the member who said I was obviously young,I take that as a compliment as I am only 9 years your junior

Ohh Irrate emails from members. How fun. A forum Im a mod on we get the same problem. Having a large proportion American membership though, we get threats of legal action... Shame there are practicing lawyers in the team :P

There needs to be an online lawyer firm sering the forum community :P

nah there is enough sections as there is......buy the way there are only 12 threads in upcoming event....one page, pretty to scan

it would be good if the title started with say TAS, NE, than the rest

Personally i don't know what the problem is with the way it is, if your orginising a trip, you put it in Upcoming events.

If you have done a trip and have a trip report put it in Trip reports in the state you are from or what state you did the trip in

Don't see what the issue is personally. My trips are always titled "Ex-Brisbane day trip date xyz". What's so hard?

Even if there was say a QLD trip planning section, you'd still have to say whether it's ex-Brisbane or Cairns, or whatever.
