which way do you thread your belt around your trousers
i start threading from the left of the zipper and the end of the belt ends up pointing to the left
was told when i was a young tacker the blokes thread to the left and girls thread to the right
which way is the right or is that left
umm........the rep that just dropped into my work got me thinking.....maybe i have too much time on my hands today
I start at the left and go around. but it's hard to find the loops on tracky pants
.
I've always done it the other way so that the loose end of the belt face the same way as the flap over the fly. That's what I was taught as a kid.
Over the years this has been confirmed when I bought belts that had logos or other images. Putting them your way would have put the image upside down.
However.....
When I was supplied with my NZ-made belts with my work uniform I had to change that. The belts are embossed with the words "City Rail " which would be upside down if I threaded the belt in the normal manner.

Yup, left to right for me to![]()
Thread to the left...... that's the way it is done. Learnt that in the military.......
Weeds, forget the belt.
Worry about the fact that a softly spoken well dressed effeminate man got you looking so long at his lower regions that you figured out which way HE threaded HIS belt.

Mmm, the army and air force Manual of dress both specify which way for the belt to be looped.
The air force one is different directions for males and females, I just can't remember which way it is around![]()
