    Series 1/2/2a heater warning.

The day before yesterday I discovered a problem with the heater on my Series 2a. This is a cylindrical one with two flaps on the front of it. There are several different brands that have been used, and this problem will not apply to all of them.

I was taking my granchildren to catch the school bus. Because it was a cold morning, the heater was on. My seven year old grand daughter discovered that the slots in the grille were wide enough to get her smallest finger in. There is a fan just the other side of the grille......... Fortunately it was on slow, and only minimal damage was done to the finger, but be warned!

    She won't do that again

The same as when I was a kid - in a creek that had a pipe just below the waterline - put my hand up there and something with very sharp teeth bit my finger - most likely an eel - nearly 50 years later - I have never done that again.
