    Very cool!!!

I actually didn't realize it was a scale model until it approached that first rock!! But damn does it perform well... No doubt it had the front and rear lockers engaged the whole time

    Very nice

Stirling - yup, diffs are locked full time, with alfoil!
Its actually worth checking out the build thread on this thing at PROJECT LANDY ( New T Case and some more stuff... ) - Page 19 - Scale 4x4 R/C Forums
The amount of custom and precision work this guy has done is astounding!

i'm building my own crawler at the moment, and trying to pluck up courage for a scale series 3 build to match my truck... this might just have done the trick..

I'm working on the same body, would prefer a 110. My goal is to get it as close to scale as possible. The hard part was finding beam axles the right length and the right sized wheels & tyres, but I have them on the way from Asia / USA now. The axles will be much more realistic than the ones in the pic.
Thanks for posting this, I will be reading the link with great interest when I get home from work.
I am taking pics as I go if anyone is interested.
It's a long term project so don't expect any "finished" shots any time soon.
I'm making the bullbar out of brass tube & plate now.

By the way, it is approx 1/8th scale.

    Steve.
