Buy a diesel transit type van :D
Save the disco for fun duties
Would love to, don't have the space though for too many vehicles.

I'm in a new job and working out of my D2 now as well - putting a lot of k's on it recently. Clutch all but died driving from Kal to Perth this week - have just had master and slave replaced and all is good.
Looking at upgrading in the near future and have just done a comparison between a D3 TDV6 and the new Toymota LC200. No comparison really - the D3 wins hands down in every respect. So thought I had just about made my mind up.
But then to throw a spanner in the works, a mate has recently bought a new Defender and I've been having a good look at this. Might be even better suited to what I want than a D3. Very impressed with what I've seen so far.
I really think that Toymota are now relying heavily on brand loyalty and fleet deals) for much of their sales because, if you do an honest and unbiased comparison between the Toymotas and the comparable LR product, the LR wins it in just about every respect.
I'm not biased either way - have had more Toymotas than LR's and have been very happy with some of them (especially 80 Series GXL). But with the new models, I think they've lost the plot.
I admit it, I Sin, I live in both worlds.
Just whatever you do - "Do Not" touch a 2001 to 2005 TD30 as the engine will blow up on you. It's just a matter of when. Fifth gear will go crunch in the manual.

Keep the disco as a play toy and buy a van, even a toyota or nissan will have issues (as mentioned above) and for what you do you wont gain much in terms of interior space. Failing all that buy a defender.
