    Used Cars, I'm annoyed

    I'm Annoyed,

Just drove over to doreen to look at an AUII Fairmont Wagon to replace (wouldn't use that word) the disco, 106000kms, Excellent Condition, First to see will buy etc etc...

Well after an hour getting there I pop the bonnet, and low and behold no water, in the header tank. Oil around the output shaft of the gearbox, and the alloys were scarred big time. Body wise good nick. How much do you think? I told him $13000 was dreaming, am going to put in an offer maybe $10000

I guess he didn't know about the water, but his mechanic checked it in November. I reckon its done a head gasket, Where did all the water go?

Was quieter and smoother than the disco, but just didn't have the landrover "ora" about it. Needed a few more leaks.

Oh, I so want a range.

mate, dont offer him anything, look else where, falcon wagons and commodore wagons are cheap, you can pick up BA wagons for close to that money at auction.

    Was that at Auction?

I'm a bit confused about the whole auction thing? What sort of prices can I expect?

I wouldnt be paying more than about $7500 for an AU3 these days as BA's are getting into the sub $10k range in some of the yards in Dandenong.

LOOK AROUND, talk to Chris and do a bit more research, Im sure you will turn up something better than that.
