What annoys me is some price comparisons in relation to size/materials etc.
I ordered today among lots of parts to get my gear box back on the road, a new air filter...big steel tube full of cardboard & rubber ring, large box it comes in $25.
The rather small rubber dump valve that fits on the end of the 300TDI air box $31.25 it fits in a match box almost, so go figure the value difference in the price. :mad::mad::mad:
More likely to be able to source the air filter from some other source. The matchbox size dump valveI would expect to be a bit more difficult to source from elsewhere:cool:
Tony got me a new bottom radiator hose for the Series III last week - $30.00. God I love my Series III!:D

Told them not to bother - also mentioned that my previous handbrake had lasted in excess of 200,000kms! He seemed un-phased! GRRR. It has rusted, and therefore must have been exposed to water!!!?? WTF.
Rover are just un-real like this.
Got my $$$ worth though -called RoverCare this morning, and sent the bloody thing to the dealer on a truck so....l feel a little better about things!
