Remember the clubsport that crashed into the car yard.............

Only a year or two later and Ford has made it's own copy...............

    Bloody typical

    from ford forums:

Okay, this is all i know about what happened. I work at Stillwells here in Adelaide. It was not an employee. The driver had been reported before the accident for street racing, at the time of the crash he was racing a statesman, came round the small bend, and the back end came out, hit the statesman, and he lost control. The statesman kept goin, and was later charged with street racing and leaving the scene of an accident. The driver was charged with street racing and dangerous driving, insurance didnt cover the accident. 12 cars on the stillwell hyundai yard were written off. The driver had minor cuts and bruises, and his girlfriend walked away unharmed. The ute just missed (by less than a second) a employee of stillwells, walking to her car.

Stillwell still did well out of that. The insurance will be more than the cars are worth - and think of the advertising value on TV.
