i have been an e-bay user for years, both as buyer and seller. i have never had a problem with getting paid, nor any problems with receiving goods paid for by direct deposit. i smell "scam " here, as i believe e-bay owns pay-pal. in fact, whether they do, or not, i will NOT be dictated too as to how i settle my purchases or have my sales settled. as of the date that this system is introduced i will be closing my e-bay account, as i'm sure will many others. a pity, really, as i have enjoyed my e-bay experience and found it very convenient for selling small items i no longer require.
