Yes it is, i have done it and it will heaps better than the twins on lpg ever did, you will find a lot who will knock the holley conversion but from experience of running my 3.5 with a 350 holley for 11 years it craps all over the twin strommies. Easiest way is to mill the carbs mount off the stock manifold and bolt on an adapter for a holley to holden 2brl stromberg found at most autobarns and performance shops. You will need a new acc. cable or make up some linkages to suit the original cable. If you were only running petrol i would say to keep the strommies as they are good carbs when kept serviced.

I would have to agree with Loanrangie. The Holley carby is heaps better then the strombergs. The Holley is easier to tune and usually stays in tune unlike the old strommys.I had a Holley 350 on a rover V8 years ago on gas and it ran faultlessly.Hope this helps!

All ill say is use the search button , the holley is fine on road on gas but if your going 4wdriving up the bush and run out of gas and start driving on petrol climbing hills look out , And no im not a fan of the holley fishing sinker (they work best as a sinker)

I just used impco gear as it is easy find and cheap , hooking up a snorkle is a little more complicated but not too difficult. The holley may suffer on steep inclines but there are ways around it apart from running on gas offroad.
