    Unless I'm mistaken Tibet doesn't have an army btw. :-)

    Ok I've just rung the People's Republic of China embassy for an explanation.

    They're actually monks that have disguised themselves as Chinese soldiers and are going to go an beat up other monks .....to get publicity for their cause -

    geez they're scheming scoundrels aren't they those monks

    no ...no ...wait ....they just called back saying they got it wrong. .... the Chinese Army just happens to be issuing new pyjamas in a nice Saffron Orange colour.

    So what's da problem ? ..sound perfectly plausible to me.

    A mate who's an ex-journo emailed it to me today. I'll probably see him tomorrow and ask where it originated.
