most of that car you can buy off the shelf.....save the money buy a new defender and spend the rest on the bits to make it just like a 60th if thats what floats your boat.

although i do like the wheels with the defender on it but thats just my bling adiction
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

To me it says that LR don't really give a stuff about the 60th.

Maybe that's because the 60th isn't as special as the 50th (which in motoring terms it really ain't), or that the people at LR have lost interest as they see another ownership change come about.

At least the 50th Defender had something radically different about it with the 3.9 and the auto, but this one (or at least the 110 station wagon we will get here) is just side steps, headlamps (with sidelamps), foglamps, and a fancy grill with a bit of interior bling. Lets face it, this is what the "new" Defender facelift will be in 18 months time. Cynical... yeah. A Land Rover fan... Absolutely!

EDIT: OK, I just followed the link... the wheels are nice and it has fancy paint, but I don't think it will command the future price premium that the 50th currently enjoys.
