    How high is the Condamine?

Hey guys. does any-one live out near Killarney or white swamp who could tell me how deep the crossings on the condamine river road are at the moment. I don't mind doing a recce, but I might be pushed for time. I'm kitted up for water but not every-one I'm leading is that fortuanate. Last time there the first crossing was do-able but the second was up to the armpits and flowing like mad(yes it was in Jan with all the floods). Havn't seen the results of the damage. Any help would be appreciated. Failing that I suppose I'll post in upcoming trips "anyone want to come check out the Condamine on Sunday?"

    Thanks
    The Colonol

This was taken on Feb 10 08. It was exiting the deepest crossing of the track that day.

Have we had much rain since then? I'd think levels would be lower.

As you can see the water level is the top of the wheel arches. This Disco2 has 245/75 16 MTRs and 2in lift I think.

This is me entering the deepest part.

I'm keen for a day trip and a stop somewhere for lunch. Let me know the details of where and when to be and unless I'm interrupted by the birth of my son I will be there.

I'm keen for a day trip on Sunday as well although I don't have a snorkel on the Disco so as long as there is no problem. Let me know a time and place and I'll be there.

Here is some on the 2nd week of Jan 08

This is the first crossing coming back from the second. Notice the extra water in the for ground. 2 days before this the forground water was over the wheels
