I have no idea why yours is slow.

I just assumed that everyone else would be faster than my setup.

I have 512 download, but since the computer is a 10 yr old PII 333mhz, most of the time taken to get a page is taken up with processing the info to display.
Even so the half dozen AULRO pages I just checked each loaded in about 4 secs and about 3 secs of that was processing after the download was complete.

I know that doesn't really answer your question, except to suggest that the problem is not with the AULRO site.

Loading the AULRO home page just took 45 seconds. Loading the MotorCars Ltd forum home page took 5 seconds. I don't know if that US site is cached here in Oz.

Pedro, it's obvious that Inc is pumping it up hill to you and none is running down hill to us!

Access from home (cable) is also very slow.

Loading the AULRO home page is significantly faster than loading a page full of messages.
