    Daylight robbery

Oh well. It had to happen. I had better tighten my bely once again. Diesel has just hit $1.76.8/ litre in north western Sydney. There goes my Qld trip. I might go to Harrington instead.

    Friday pricing

Can you wait until Tuesday - it always seems cheaper in Adelaide early in the week, ramping up for the weekend.

First time I've considered changing vehicles seriously after it cost me 130 bucks for a tank of fuel in the disco today.

Maybe an lpg ute or something might be the go. Just not sure I can afford it. I know it gets good mileage on the Diesel but..... I suspect I could get cheaper out of a 2wd lpg vehicle.

its up and down here as well, one servo had 166.9 another had 161.9.

Heres a question for those who understand it,
our prices are set by the singapore rates, daily weekly or whatever,
now when the oil companies buy their oil, don;t they pay for it on delivery?
If so, why does the price go up when they bought it at a lower barrel price?

    I think that makes sense.

Was listening to an interview today with the "ACCC Petrol Commisioner" who said the petrol price is governed by Singapore parity and the diesel price is controlled by the Saudis'.....confusing ??,, yes I think so to

He also mentioned that when the barrel price increases, the pump increase for that paricular barrel should be 2-3 months down the track.
It then had me thinking that last week the "Barrel Price" went to a record high, so what will be the pump price be in a few months. ULP = $1.70 was mentioned.....
