    Td5 Motor

    With increasing pressure from SWMBO,
I'm seriously thinking of parting out my 'written off' 2003 Defender Xtreme and was wondering if anyone has any idea what $$$ I might get for the motor. The vehicle has only done 69,000kms and all mechanicals are in good order.

    Hi Roger,

I'm dismayed to hear about the 'writing off' of your truck. What happened??

As an aside though, I may have a serious buyer if you are interested I can give you his contact details? He is looking to repower a high mileage D2.

    Thanks for replys to date.

mcrover - I think you might be outbid.

justinc - yes, contact details would be appreciated, thanks.

Blknight.aus - Due to upcoming two month OS trip, I probably wont be starting any serious action on this until about September - so maybe you could start saving!
