    What course are you doing?

If you got any q's, shoot us a PM, I do Geotech stuff (still studying but did alright at that )

Perhaps if I'd have done that, I wouldn't have ended up at a uni that I hate, studying a course that I hate, alongside people that I hate, failing every piece of assessment as it comes one by one, hating myself for being so full of hate and hating the fact that I hate it so much and hate wasting the time turning up everyday...

What I hate the most are the people who say you need to enjoy whatever it is you do, because they were right.

nothing worst than being 'mature age' and balancing both. Brings back memories, at least memory retention is better( from what I can remember)
At least your semester load is light.

    good luck

I left after year ten also, and now I'm at Uni anyway!

Experience got me a graduate job with no degree, but they're still fixated on that bit of paper!

Ditto. Did grade 11 but only 'cause I couldn't get an apprenticeship at the end of grade 10. Hated school, was a lazy bugger and would not apply myself.

Then at the age of 40 got made redundant from a six figure senior management role and when I went to write my resume, realised that "Sparkie" just didn't do it anymore.

4 and 1 third years later got my MBA done last year. Failed stats and pride made me do the subject again.

I couldn't say I enjoyed the study but am proud of having done it. It did annoy me though that I had to give up my weekends, golf, lazing around, etc to get it done.

The upside was I promised myself a 4WD if I finished, hence the D3.

My advice for those still at at? Set short term goals:

"I will study for one more hour"
"I will read to the end of this chapter"
"I will just write 1500 words of gibberish, then watch the footy and make sense of it tomorrow"
    etc, etc.
