you're right, it looks like they have changed the name of the publication.

Which edition - I have June 08 in front of me and didn't notice it?

    Yeah it's 4x4 Action now ...........

Richard, where did you get a copy? I didn't think it was out yet - they were supposed to send me a pre-release copy of the article + photos and video, but I haven't got anything from them yet

    Cheers,

    Awesome car...

Watching the DVD though, both myself and my offsider at work were a bit worried about the pressure of your tyres when you drove over the rocky limestone terrain... it looked somewhat excessively low, which of course would be perfect for the soft sand shown later in the feature!

    Congrats nevertheless!

Yes, due to time restrictions, I had to leave the mud tyres on between the mud shoot and the sand dunes, so I was running them (Super Swampers) pretty low to get adequate flotation in the sand. The limestone track was between dunes - so I was being a little cautious, but the SSR's are a pretty hardy tyre (10-ply).

    Cheers,

    Gordon

    Gordon,

When did you do the shoot? The article mentions you were thinking of doing the mud drags which you did a couple of months ago.

    Good article anyway.
