    Yep. Red and White taxi syndrome.

    Ambulances are for emergencies and are staffed by highly qualified Paramedics, not "Ambulance drivers"

    The amount of people who don't understand this is mind boggling!

    If you need to get to hospital and you aren't too sick to get yourself there, you can catch a taxi or be driven.

    Hope your mate is okay - Chest pain is definately one of the above mentioned "emergencies".

    The ambo's were always realy good when they came around for my Mum back when I was growing up.
    The one thing that does annoy me is the emergency call centre. Yass doesn't exist on their maps so you get linked to golburn and they don't know the area as well as the local guys. Can make reporting a major smash on the highway dificult.
