    Recaro seats into 110 - Size and $$?

    I've got a mate who has just bought a Japanese import Misubishi Evo 8 (or 9?) which he is gutting for tarmac rallying. Rollcage is going in as well as new seats, so the Recaros that came with it are getting sold.

    Q1: Anyone know if Recaros go into a 110 nicely?

    Q2: What might a fair price for the 2 seats be?

    They are black 'suede'/leather finish. I haven't done any in-depth measuring yet, but it looks like they would fit with a suitable set of brackets to bolt to the Defender seat box.

    You can get brackets from recaro. I'm not sure they would be much of an improvement because the Stratos ones I got were more comfortable but the seating gave extra height which was the real bonus. Someone I know who had xr6 seats in were more comfortable but vision was..... not so great.

    Price... well good leather.... $600 each at minimum. I'm talking like 1/3rd of what you might pay in the real world.

    may i ask how much the statos ones were as i really need a seat for my disco!!!

    We put a recaro in the county they fit fine but when getting in the seat is a bit close to the steering wheel but once your in it's quite comfy.

    Well I was hoping you were going to upgrade your seats, so I could get yours, but that didn't pan out . I didn't realise that seats were so expensive.

    So if I could get them for $600 for the two of them it sounds like that would be a very good deal. He has suggested $500, so I might then suggest $600 to make him happy.

    i put bucket seats in my 110 cut up the original seat and used the slider and just welded tags to bolt the seats to so if any one asks i just used the original mounting points(slightly legal)
